Hurricane(Typhoon) Ioke 2006 was the burly hurricane still recorded in the Central Pacific. The first typhoon to form in the Central Pacific in the 2006 Pacific hurricane season, Ioke was a record breaking, long-lived and enormously powerful hurricane that cross the Pacific for 19 days, reaching the counterpart of Category 5 hurricane status on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale three times.

Hurricane Hector 2006 was the ninth tropical hurricane of the 2006 Pacific hurricane season. Hector begins from tropical waves that emerge from the western coast of Africa on July 31.
