Hurricane John 2006 was the eleventh named storm, seventh hurricane, and fifth main hurricane of the 2006 Pacific hurricane season. Hurricane John develops on August 28 from a tropical wave to the south of Mexico.

Hurricane Ileana 2006 was the fourth of six main hurricanes in the 2006 Pacific hurricane season. Forming from a tropical wave on August 21, Ileana followed northwestward off the seaside of Mexico during its duration.
