Tropical storm Barry developed in the southeastern Gulf of Mexico on June 1st. Peak intensity was 93 km/hr (50 knots or 58 mph) with a minimum pressure of 997 mb. Beneficial rains fell in parts of Florida and Georgia. Precipitation totals from U.S. Climate Reference Network (USCRN) stations were accumulated over the June 1-5 period.
