Hurricane(Typhoon) Ioke 2006 was the burly hurricane still recorded in the Central Pacific. The first typhoon to form in the Central Pacific in the 2006 Pacific hurricane season, Ioke was a record breaking, long-lived and enormously powerful hurricane that cross the Pacific for 19 days, reaching the counterpart of Category 5 hurricane status on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale three times.
